Hello
The generic set for Polish F-16s, announced in January, has gone on sale.
For many years, starting with the Spanish F/A-18s, we have adopted the principle of introducing a generic/basic set for a given aircraft type and user, which allowed us to model any aircraft in standard combat camouflage. This means that when we release a set with special paint schemes, we don't have to fill the printer's sheet with operational inscriptions and other typical elements; we simply combine the generic set with the special set. This applies to all decals above the D..089 number (for catalog numbering rules, see the FAQ section), so this did not apply to Polish F-16s, among others. For many years, this set served this role D..073A Polish F-16C/D Stencils, which is currently being discontinued in 1/72 and 1/48 scales. However, since it didn't allow for the production of any machine, and also doesn't include all types of operational markings, which, like the "RESCUE" arrow, were changed during renovations at WZL2 Bydgoszcz, we decided not to reissue it, but to develop a new generic set that would solve all these problems. And so we created:
D..222 Polish F-16-C/D bock 52+ „Jastrząb” - generic set

The decal is available in 1/72 and 1/48 scales, and will likely be available in 1/32 scale soon. It's available separately, but we'll soon be permanently including it in some kits as COMBO SETS. We're also preparing a new product type, the first kit of which will include this decal as one of its components. ;)
That's all for today.
Best regards,
MM Team
