Hello everyone!
Today we have something to show you that we've been working on for several months. After the Su-22 Tiger and the MiG-29 with Stanisław Skalski, we present to you another of our rebox model in an exclusive limited edition.
This is also a huge step forward for us, as with this model, we're entering the era of 3D printing in our company..
Yes, you read that correctly. We're starting the production of 3D printed elements.
The RWD-8 model is the first plastic model of an aircraft from a Polish company, IBG Models. They pioneered this field, and although even today, when we hold these sprues in our hands, the model looks very decent, from the start its Achilles' heel was the wing, which was heavily criticized in the Polish modeling community at the time. The second element was the lack of decals for the military versions.
However, it's still a very good model. You can make a great miniature out of it straight from the box.
For those who would like more, we have our offer enriched with our additions.
MM73005 RWD-8 in Polish service with 3D printed wing

We add decals allowing you to make one of seven military aircraft, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Regiment, as well as from Dęblin and Bydgoszcz.

Another addition is a new 3D-printed wing for this model. We strived to produce this element with the highest possible precision, replicating the fabric deflection on the wings and the aileron ribbing. This, along with the folding section of the right wing, was produced as a separate element, allowing more determined modelers to build the wings in a folded version.
We hope this element meets your expectations. This is our first 3D product. Its design took us some time, and later this week we will show you the first production prints, and the photo shows the final prototype compared to the model wing.

And later this week, expect the first announcement of 3D-printed products, designed for a slightly more modern aircraft ;)
We're also adding wheel rim masks and, note, alternatives to some markings, such as checkerboards and side and underwing numbers. We're here to help, because painting mask markings, even on such small models, is becoming increasingly popular. The masks are made of two types of materials: vinyl foil, like all our masks currently, and Japanese yellow paper foil. This is another new addition to our offer, which we're announcing today. We'll soon present the first sets of masks made using this material :)

The model will be available for sale in March, but PLEASE NOTE: We're launching a pre-order in the coming days, giving you the chance to buy the model at a great price and be the first to get it. As always, the edition is limited to just 100 pieces! We'll notify you about the pre-order launch in a separate newsletter.
That's all for today, and our Facebook followers have likely seen a sample print of the Special Edition decals; we'll be writing more about that soon ;)
Best regards,
The MM Team
