A week ago, we announced our first 3D-printed kits.

While developing decals for Polish, then Belgian, Dutch, and most recently Finnish F-35s, we noticed a new distinctive feature: the attachment point for the drogue chute container, and soon also the chute itself, which is already in use in Norway and the Netherlands. It's clear that other users will soon be using them as well. Unfortunately, almost all models available on the market completely omit this element. Only Tamiya in 1/48 scale has included a container, and they suggest simulating its mounting location with decals. However, as you'll soon see in the photos, when the container is removed, its outline on the fuselage is painted in the color of the service markings, and at the front is a distinctive, rather complex-shaped "cap."

Without these elements, creating a proper model for the aforementioned users (this does not apply to the first aircraft delivered to the Netherlands) is simply impossible, hence the idea for these renditions.

Since not everyone likes the F-35 with the hump between the stabilizers, we've split the aforementioned elements into two sets, which are now available for sale in three scales: 1/72, 1/48, and 1/32.

After announcing the rebox of the RWD-8 model, we received a lot of your feedback, comments, and questions. We decided to take some of them into account, which is why the pre-order launch has been slightly delayed. We hope to launch it next week and then show you what's changed ;)
