Today, a few words summarizing the current status of the F-16 Tiger Demo Team T-Shirt charity event.

As we mentioned, after the launch of the T-shirt "contribution" campaign, sales completely exceeded our wildest expectations. We expected sales to last several weeks, even months. We were aware, of course, that SLAB had a huge fan base, but we didn't expect such a spontaneous and rapid response. It's undeniable that the support of the commander of the 31st Tactical Air Base was a huge help, which greatly legitimizes our initiative in your eyes. The campaign spread widely online, garnering coverage from numerous airline profiles on Facebook and Instagram, as well as from several local and national media outlets. We sincerely thank everyone for this!

Orders didn't just come from Poland; we also received support from Germany, the United Kingdom, and even Australia!

We had already raised the initial amount securing our campaign on Wednesday, so we decided to end it and give all the "latecomers" a few more hours until Wednesday morning, April 15th. After closing the sale on Thursday morning, we're still receiving messages from people interested in purchasing it, so let's start again. We had a clear goal, which we now consider achieved: we won't sell more T-shirts than we should, because that would create a problem for us in settling the entire amount collected. And here's the clue. The amount we needed was approximately twenty thousand złoty. After selling several hundred T-shirts, it's been raised, but it's based on estimates, not specific calculations. The stone/plaque contractor estimated the cost. The architect estimated the cost of all the paperwork and documents, etc., etc. However, there are things that can change. For example, if the ground in the planned location for the plaque is unstable, it will require more earthworks, which will increase the costs. There are several variables involved, so on Tuesday we announced that a certain number of T-shirts might still be available in this situation. Another issue is that we have a few unpaid orders, and there are also some duplicates (unfortunately, our system was a bit slow at times ;) ), so the exact amount we have available will be determined once we fulfill all the orders, and there are a lot of them.

And here we turn to everyone who purchased our T-shirt-contribution. Since we've already received questions about "when it will be ship?", including some suggesting "is this a scam?", we're pleased to inform you that we're operating at full speed. The first orders have already arrived, and many will arrive on Monday and the following days. We're a small family business with a defined production capacity. We produce T-shirts individually for each order. We're currently working full-time, 10-12-hour shifts, even today on Sunday, to fulfill all orders as quickly as possible. Furthermore, our main product remains decals and modeling accessories, and we're preparing for our annual trip to Hungary for the Moson Model Show, one of the largest modeling events in Europe. We'll be away from April 24th to 29th. All of this means that it will take several weeks to complete all orders. At the current pace, those who placed orders on Wednesday and  Thursday mornings should expect them after the May long weekend (1 May is a national holiday in Poland)

Regarding the stone/plaque itself, we hope to show you its design and the text to be included next week. A letter has already been sent to the administrator of the land where it will be placed, and We're waiting for a response, but we're optimistic. We'll just say that it will be a public location, not far from 31 AB.
