Hello
I'm sure you all remember the F-16 Tiger Demo Team T-shirt, which we stop sale after Maciej Krakowian's tragic crash. After withdrawing it from sale, we received a record number of messages, emails, and phone calls from you asking us to reintroduce it, but for purely ethical reasons, we decided we couldn't just do it. The idea you're about to hear about first came to us last fall and is now coming to fruition. We never managed to meet SLABA in person. We were supposed to meet in Radom, and he was supposed to receive a package of T-shirts from us as a thank you for his support of our project. This didn't work out, and the T-shirts were auctioned off for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP), where they fetched exorbitant prices. This only confirmed to us that this project has great potential, which should be launched in some charitable way. We decided it would be worthwhile to honor SLAB with a memorial stone or plaque placed in a location accessible to everyone—his fans, aviation enthusiasts, spotters, etc.—close to the airport, yet public, so everyone could pause and reflect. We successfully presented this idea to the 31st Tactical Air Base headquarters, where it was well-received, and today we are entering the implementation phase. The T-shirt is now available for sale. All proceeds will go towards funding a memorial plaque dedicated to Lt. Col. Maciej "SLAB" Krakowian. Therefore, the T-shirts will be additionally marked with the inscription "T-shirt - Contribution - in memory of SLAB," hence the higher-than-normal price.

We are already finalizing both the plaque itself and its intended location. We can't reveal these details at this time, but we promise to keep you updated on the progress and status of the work. This is all being done with the support of the Commander and staff of the 31st BLT, whom we thank for their positive response and support. There are many more entities involved in this initiative, and we promise to mention each one individually. Today, we encourage you to purchase a T-shirt as a donation; we would like to raise the money as soon as possible to be able to pay for the plaque's completion. It is also important to all of us that as many people as possible support this initiative, because then this plaque will truly come from all of you, those in whose hearts SLAB still lives.
Best regards,
The MM Team
