Mikael Forslund has over written twenty books and his latest book on Spitfire in Sweden was the 80th anniversary of the first flight of the aircraft type March 5, 1936. The book is structured chronologically and begins with a plane crash by a British Spitfire aircraft in Funäsdalen during the war. In addition, if the attempt to buy the type of aircraft during World War II and a visit to the Spitfire aircraft in Sweden after the war. emphasis of the book is obviously on the purchase of 50 Spitfire Mk. XIX reconnaissance aircraft to F 11 in Nyköping labeled S 31. We can have access to the service in the Air Force for pilots and technical descriptions and failures accompanied with drawings, charts, and color profiles. A recurring theme in the book is killing the myth and the explanation of why the S 31 never had white numbers. In one chapter, we get the story of the acquisition and rehabilitation of the Air Force Museum S 31 Spitfire.
